  • Corporations take a cut of your profits, but they do provide perks
  • You can receive rewards of land grants, housing (city apartment), free services, item discounts, a free ship, a loaned ship.
  • When joining a corporation by some of these means you get an artificial boost in faction points for the side of the galaxy they support. Leaving the corporation removes these points.

Banks should be different corporations as well, depending on the planet. Have rival banks. Less fees for depositing and withdrawing money at marked or shared kiosks.
