In the days following the Battle of Yavin the Alliance to Restore the Republic found a new wave of recruits and resources as other beings yearned to be free. The peaceful Mon Calamari joined with their sometimes enemy the Quarren and with the aid of the Alliance repelled the Imperial garrison and drove the Imperial Navy from the Calamari system.
The Mon Cal then threw their full support behind the alliance. Though the Mon Cal was a peace loving people they had learned war from the Imperial Occupation. The Quarren their world free of Imperial oppression decided it was better to disappear into the shadows than feel the inevitable Imperial Reprisal. Many Quarren left their world for other worlds though some merely retreated into the depths of the ocean.
As the worlds of the galaxy took in the death of Alderaan and the destruction of the Death Star at Yavin hope began to sweep across the worlds in the Outer Rim, whose worlds were not yet fully under the yoke of the Empire.
Imperial officers who had thus far remained loyal to the Empire began to plan their defection. Colonel Crix Madine, commander of the Imperial Storm Commandos sent a message to his longtime friend General Carlist Rieekan. In it Colonel Madine expressed sorrow over the destruction of Alderaan and the rising number of illegal orders issued by the Emperor.
Upon the world of Dentaal the Dentaal Independence Party rose up and cast off its Imperial oppressors declaring itself a free world. Even now rumours persist that the Emperor has dispatched the Imperial Storm Commandos to bring the rebellious world into line. Mon Mothma eager to aid any world that would rise up dispatches General Rieekan and the Alderaanian Death Legion to Dentaal.
New Races:

Caamasi: The Caamasi were a race of calm wisdom and steadfast loyalty to the Old Republic. It was their wisdom as much as the Jedi that held the Old Republic together in its last days. In the early dawn of the New Order their race paid a great price. There world of Caamas was destroyed by the Empire, so complete was its destruction that it was left a desolate barren wasteland. The race has golden downy fur hightlighted on their face by purple stripes. Their eyes were blue on green causing a striking look. Their race has the rather unique ability to transfer memories from one to another of their race. It is rumoured they can even transfer such to a force sensitive not of their race. ( we need to work on their ingame abilities)

Falleen: A reptilian species that hails from the world of the same name located in the Inner Rim. The Falleen produce powerful pheromones from their bodies which have a strong effect even upon non-Falleen. They are considered one of the most beautiful of humanoid species. Their lithe bodies are covered with scales that are typically a deep or grayish green, but the color fluctuates toward a red or orange when they release pheromones. There is little difference between female and male the only notable difference in build is that the spiny ridge that runs down their back is more prominent in males than in females. The Falleen species does not often travel from their Homeworld. They consider their species and civilization far better than anything in the galaxy. Falleen nobles leave Falleen in their youth to wander the galaxy only to inevitably return when they can find nothing like home. A few of these choose to stay in the stars though and join the Alliance remembering well their treatment at the hands of Lord Vader. Game Notes: While not true amphibians the Falleen nevertheless can hold their breath far longer than is the norm for species given their origins nearly four times as long, thus the time for them to start taking damage in an aquatic zone is four times the length of most races. The pheromones give the Falleen a persuasion of +2. Need more game mechanics for em.
Planets:
Bothawui: The Homeworld of the Bothans this world is typically of many terristorial worlds.
City: Drev’starn ( capitol )
POI: Combined Clans Building( located in Drev’starn)
Dentaal: An outer rim world Dentaal is typical of the terrestrial worlds favored by humans. Recently the Dentaal Independence Party deposed Imperial Governor Taliff and declared their world free. They have sent an emissary to the Alliance asking to join. Rumours say that the Emperor’s Imperial Storm Commandos are even now moving against the world.
City: Landru City
Story Arc: The Defection of Colonel Crix Madine.
Falleen: The Homeworld of the Falleen this world in the early days of the Empire was home to one of Darth Vader’s biological research centers. When a breakout occurred at the facility Vader ordered the facility and the city housing it destroyed from orbit. 200,000 Falleen died in the attack though their planet survived causing many Falleen harbor ill will towards humans.
Falleen has a small stellar class starport in one city.
Isis: A crystalline planet discovered in the last days of the Old Republic by an Aldeeranian exploration survey its location was never entered into the official galactic registry due to Bail Organa who feared what Palpatine might do with it. It is a huge world with translucent mountains and refractive spires. It is the home of the Gutretee and of an Alliance Starfighter construction facility. Before his death Bail Organa had moved many families of prominent Republic supporters and later Alliance supporters to the world.
POI: Alliance Starfighter Construction Facility
Special: Isis can only be traveled to by members of the Alliance. You receive the coordinates from Mon Mothma or Leia Organa after a series of missions.
Sanctuary: An ocean world the land of Sanctuary is made primarily of islands. Originally settled by religious pacifist seeking to escape enforce conscription. They agreed to join the Alliance as long as they did not hve to fight. They provide fish and fiberplast for clothing to the Alliance. Recently a group of Quarren have moved to the world seeking to escape the war as well, they have retreated into the oceans. Sanctuary has a collection of small villages. There is a single small starport on one of the isles.
Travel to Sanctuary is only allowed after you obtain persmission from Mon Mothma or Leia Organa.
Thila: A remote world of the Outer Rim, Thila was an ideal place for the Alliance to move their HQ after the Battle of Yavin. It had no indigenous sentient life which meant noone was at risk by their presence. Further like Yavin it was a forested world of temperate rain forest which meant little change in Alliance equipment.
Special: Thila can be travelled to by any Rebel ( note a mp ship piloted by a Rebel doesn't have to contain rebels because with Thila this would fit.....sadly it will doom this base ) ( This restriction is in place until Thila will be discovered by the Empire in a later Expansion ).
Noted Rebels on Thila: Leia Organa, Luke Skywalker (not yet promoted to commander that doesn’t happen til Narra is killed), Commander Narra, Han Solo and Chewbacca ( though not officially part of the alliance they are here working on the falcon ), Voren Na’al ( Alliance historian ).
Yavin: New POI: Dr’unn Unnh’s gravesite. He was a member of the starfighter base at Yavin who when the attack came was camping away from the base. Sleeping unaware in his tent he was killed when a disabled tie fighter slammed into his camp.
Space Sectors:
Bothawui: The Bothawui system is full of comets.
Dentaal: At the moment the Dentaal space sector is filled with smugglers and others seeking to make a buck while the system is free from the empire. Business traffic seems brisk. The Dentaal Independence Party ( the DIP ) maintains a small force of Z-95s for planetary defense.
Falleen: Due to the Isolationist view of the Falleen the Empire does not maintain a large Navy presence in the system.
Roche System: The Roche system is predominated by the asteroid field called the Roche Asteroid Field. It is thought the field is the remains of a planetary body destroyed in the long past. It is the home of the Verpine race. It is here that Commander Ackbar has set up his Shantipole base for the development of the B-Wing. Rebels can gain the B-Wing/E and B-Wing/E2 schematics from a series of missions for Commander Ackbar.
Story Arc: Save the B-Wings from the Empire.
Sanctuary: An asteroid belt here could provide miners with a great deal of goods. The Alliance> maintains no military space stations here or regular patrols as not to attact Imperial Attention.
Deep Ocean Zones:
Bothawui:
Dentaal:
Falleen:
Sanctuary: A small Quarren group has set up and is preparing to set up mining operations to sell to the surface dwellers like they did on Calamari, they are interested only in staying out of the war.
Thila:
New Rules:
Ships can land on the surface of worlds. Ships can now land without the need of a spaceport on the surface of a world. It obviously cannot land on structures. The ship will remain as an object for all to see even while the owner is logged out.
Professions:
Architect: Due to advancements in technology Medium and Heavy harvestors can now be placed in rough terrain ( when place in rough terrain they cost 20% extra maint)
Armorer: Alderaan Guard Battle Armor (Once the battle armor of the Alderaan Guard this is mostly a memory of museums today, though some members of the Alderaanian Death Legion chose to wear it. It had been retired from service when Alderaan did away with its weapons.)
Artisan: Trast A-A5 Speeder Truck ( crew 3, passengers 25, unarmed vehicle)…Master Box; Starlight Goggles ( this improves visibility at night such that when worn it appears like as though daylight to the wearer ), T-16 Skyhopper (unarmed version), Landspeeder Turbothrust Overdrive Kit (This when used on a vehicle lets it go faster. Avail at Engineering IV. It does cause the vehicle to degrade quicker though ), Twin Fopal 888 Repulsorlift Rack Adjustments Kit ( this improves the TN of a speeder, it does cause it to degrade facter…not recommended to use this and the overdrive kit at same time…but you can do it. Avail at Engineering III )
Bio-Engineers: Cracian Thumper ( native to the Craci system these beasts have been domesticated and moved throughout the borders of civilization. They move silently, and have claws capable of limited defense, they are loyal and easily trained…..their widespread use makes them ideal for Rebel Forces)
Bounty Hunter: The Alliance lacks the resources to place all Imperial officers onto the terminals. However anyone of the rank of Major or higher in the service of the Empire are in danger of being placed on the terminals. They get on their through actions taken against the alliance ( shooting down alliance starfighters while PVP enabled, base takedowns, killing known Rebels while PVP enabled….similar to what puts Rebels on there.)
The Empire frustrated with the efforts of unlawful types to assist the Alliance has now placed a bounty on Smugglers caught in their trade. ( Slicing terminals, gun running, associating with known terrorists…and similar things can put a smuggler on the terms. )
Chef: Alderaan Ruge and Alderaan Ale as new drinks. L’lahsh as a new food.
Creature Handler: Obviously you can train the Cracian Thumper as a mount.
Dancer: 2 New Dances ( One from Alderaan, the other from Falleen )
Droid Engineer: Les Tech Explorer Droid ( this droid can be fitted with safe environment modules, up to two), Industrial Automation’s V1 Pilot Droid ( Can be used to pilot a ship that is not in combat, if combat occurs it will beep and whistle and try to get help…perfect for those cruises in your yacht so it keeps moving while you attend the party….good in mining ships too), Pilot Module (these are rated and usually put into the V1 but have been known to be put into other droids)
Musician: Alderaan Star-Scream ( a tune written by Ballifore Figg, a haunting tune that somehow captured the painful destruction of Alderaan). A song from Isis.
Shipwright: B-Wing/E, B-Wing/E2, Beta Class Assault Shuttle ( forerunner of the Gamma Class), Kappa Class Shuttle (forerunner of the Lambda class, lacks the dorsal fin and the starboard and port wings are not nearly as large) ( The B-wing/E and B-Wing/E2 schematics come from Ackbar and the Verpine )
Smuggler: Smugglers of the Rebel faction can obtain jobs to take persons to Sanctuary who wish to avoid the war, they may also get missions to take folks to Thila for the Alliance. They can be on leave to take these, just have to normally be a member. These missions can be issued by a variety of NPCs. Smugglers also can now buy Mutliple Ship Transponder codes from Shipwrights and equip their ships with them. ( To actually turn a Rebel on leave pilot for example to combatant an imperial scanner would have to scan and get all the codes turned rebel or else the smuggler is safe), False Voice Transmitter (Need to pose as someone else, you need one of these….it takes a droid brain from a protocol droid and a droid vox synth box. You can assemble it and use it to duplicate a false voice thus hiding your identity…only works with voice only communication. ),
Tailor: Clothing and accessories such that they can make the Tantive IV Rebel Fleet Trooper uniforms. Ship camouflage net ( used to hide parked ships)
Weaponsmith: Blastech A280 Blaster Rifle (cert given in Pathfinder Rifles I, this blaster rifle has a stronger punch than most Rifles but also impedes movement slightly more than the laser rifle.), Merr-Sonn G8 Blaster Rifle(cert given in Pathfinder Rifles II, this blaster rifle has a longer range than others, however it does sacrifice some of its punch for it), Blaster Bolt Diffusion Bomb ( This bomb will create an area of gas particles that will decrease the damage of blaster bolts passing through it by 50% ( this is experimented up…50% is with 1000 rated stuff. Commonly carried by Alliance SpecForces ), Explosive Slug Ammo Kit ( This is like a power up save that it is a modification to the slug that causes it to explode when it strikes a hard object like armor, it has a chance to break any armor it strikes…chance based on experimentation. Hmmm wonder what the rebels use this against….oh yeah Imperial Stormtroopers seem to favor armor….), Zone Control Viper Grenade Launcher ( This weapon can be fitted to any carbine or rifle without affecting them, it can hold up to two grenades at once, these can fire the grenades up to 60m away …they use the skill of either carbine or rifle depending on what they are mounted on), Merr-Sonn Anti-Riot Tangle Gun 7 ( given cert at Marine Pistols IV and Technician Pistols IV, this weapon fires a mass of webbing that renders the target immobile, the webbing as it wraps around is known to cause damage)
New Professions:
The Empire relies upon numbers. Though highly trained its soldiers are not truly more exceptional than those fielded in the private armies of many others. It’s just their numbers that make them look so awesome. The Alliance doesn’t have those numbers so they rely upon specially trained combatants to get the edge.
To open up the possibility of taking one of the SpecForces professions one must first complete the Story Arc: The Defection of Colonel Crix Madine. After all Madine is the one that creates the special forces units of the Alliance.
SpecForce Marine:
Prerequisite: Ranged Support line from Marksman, Unarmed line from Brawler
The Four Lines: Pistols, Rifles, K’tara, Armor
Armor: Battle Armor Cert.
K’tara is the name of the martial art SpecForces is trained in….it is a combination of Unarmed and 1 Handed Weapon styles giving some benefit to both.
Pistols, Rifles give bonuses to using those types of attacks as well as specials.
Armor represents the additional training that the Marines get in using armor. It helps to virtually eliminate most penalties associated with using Battle Armor.
SpecForce Pathfinder:
Prerequisite: Rifle line from Marksman, Exploration line from Scout
The Four Lines: Rifles, Pathfinding, Sabotage, Mounted Combat<
Armor: Recon Armor Cert
Rifles: Accuracy and speed with the Rifles
Pathfinding: Bonuses to TN and Burst Run, Also grants the ability to define a path(marked in game by stakes) which allow allies along it to move more quickly.
Sabotage: The art of sabotaging enemy fortifications and equipment to render them useless. Upon a successful use they make the item useless for a time period (Time depends on how good they did, can be used on turrets, vehicles, etc.)
Mounted Combat: This line gives a bonus to the mount’s movement, it also allows the pathfinder to use specials while mounted ( which ones you can use are determined by how far you can move up)
SpecForce Technician:
Prerequisite: Pistol line from Marksman, Engineering line from Artisan
Lines: Pistol, Repair, Jury Rigging, Improvised Explosives
Armor: recon armor cert.
Pistol: Accuracy and speed with the Pistol.
Repair gives bonuses to repair Weapons and Armor.
Jury-Rigging is the ability to take two or more broken weapons of the same type (like carbine) and make a temporary functional one.
Improvised Explosives is using available materials to make explosives (one would be putting 2 blaster packs together for an explosive….as heralded by General Craken )
Aldeeranian Death Legion:
Formed by those souls who upon hearing of the destruction of their world pledged their all to ensure it would not happen again. They volunteer for the most dangerous missions, the deadliest of assignment. ( There is no special profession for the Death Legion, most were SpecForces. They were just all survivors of Alderaan and are mentioned as a RP tool. )
Rebel Awards:
Crescent of Valor: An embossed crescent on a field of stars suspended by a blue ribbon.
Cross Crosslet: A golden cross upon a platinum background. 45% of all of them awarded would be awarded posthumously.
Kalibor Crescent: The highest award given starfighter pilots during the GCW. It also has 5 additional upgrades: The bronze cluster, silver talons, silver scimitar, golden wings, and the diamond eyes.
Kenobi Medallion of Honor: Given to those that have given their all for the elimination of the New Order. Named for General Obi Wan Kenobi who came to the alliance in its darkest hour and enabled Leia, Luke, and Han to escape the Death Star with the plans for the battlestation. The first recipients were those who died over Yavin….Jek Porkins, Biggs Darklighter, Dave ( Red Leader ), Gold Leader, and many many other fine men and women. It is only granted posthumously.
Mantooine Medallion: Presented in honor of the courage of the people of Mantooine to face Imperial occupation at any cost.
Star of Alderaan: Presented to those who perform exemplary service to the Alliance. Named in honor of Bail Organa and the people Alderaan for their contribution to the Alliance.
Completion of the Defection Story Line: Mantooine Medallion.
Completion of Save the B-Wings: Kalibor Crescent.
Effects of Medals: Medals give you a +1 to persuasion when dealing with Alliance NPCs for each medal you have. ( However having them also carries a penalty in that it increases the bounty on your head should you be on the terminals…..)
